Even as a child, I thought that if I ever had a dog, I’d call it Carlotta.  
When the hoped-for moment arrived unexpectedly the breeder (Giancarlo Malavasi) had to register the names with the letter M, hence Marlotta! You can’t have everything.
It all started with her; going to Exhibitions, attending training camps, seeing a puppy born. Everything.
She was the first pedigree Italian champion bitch and later world champion, but, in particular, she was a member of the family.
She left us in 2002.
