Marneo........ Neo to everyone !
He was born in Terni thanks to the far-sightedness of Mr. M. Triola who decided to cover his Redhot bitch with my Conan. We guessed immediately at the puppy’s superior quality; but he had been promised to Mr. Michele Maiorani, so – nothing doing, I couldn’t keep him. Fortunately, however, as happened with Conan, Neo’s future owner also waived buying him, in order to leave him to the environment of shows and pedigree selection: so I shall never stop thanking Mr. Maiorani for his friendship and willingness.
From then on escalating successes: even before he was 13 months old he was already Young S. Marino Champion and Young ENCI (Italian Kennel Club) Promise, with a good ten 1st Exc. and two II Exc. at twelve shows where on a good ten occasions he was best of breed (BOB). The last show in Italy was the Special Exhibition in Orvieto, where he won “Best of Breed” in the young class despite the presence of numerous Italian and European Champions, after which there was just the time to have the official X-ray and tests of his elbows carried out as well (he passed these as well with the maximum exemption: HD-A / ED-0 ) and to gain CAL (Certificate of attitude to work)1 (test of character) which he passed with the judge’s compliments, and then he left to find similar fortune in the States in the home of Zoe Devita where among innumerable Best in Shows, Best of Breeds and Best of Sexes to date he has become “ ICCF Champion”, “Rarities International Champion”, “2005 ICCF Regional Speciality Winner” and “American Champion” without neglecting his work in training camps and his work as a stallion ... all of this at not quite 2 years of age, well done Neo and thanks for all the emotions you aroused in me.
