What a delight, what an emotion, receiving from Sweden the photos of Maira celebrating her twelfth birthday, playing and devouring her cake, as if she were still the puppy who was born and lived at my home for six months; the process for getting the documents that allowed her to enter her new homeland was long and hard. Sean and Monica were waiting impatiently for her. They raised her with love and dedication, and Maira has repaid them by winning lots of awards: among others, she is Swedish and Scandinavian champion. More than anything, she has always been a joker, a real family dog, fun, loving and always ready to play around. A hundred more of the same, Maira!
